A 10-hour small-group day trip from Bangkok to Kanchanaburi, covering WWII cemeteries, Death Railway sites, and a train ride to the bridge.

“Having booked the day before it was a last minute trip. The pick up from my hotel was on time. Was on my own (also another guest until Kanchanaburi that went to theelephant sancuary) so it felt like a private tour Offered water twice and cool wet towel. the tour is interssting, had enough time at the cemetary, museum and Kwai river bridge. Then we rode the train to the cave and picked up there by our driver to go tothe restaurant. Tasty food, not a huge buffet but has options, I dont eat meat and had many alternatives.”

He even had water waiting for us when we finished our waterfall hike”

“This was certainly a full day out! There was just two of us on this trip which gave it an intimate feel and we travelled in an SUV rather than a minibus. It’s a long two and a half hour drive to the River Kwai museum and I must say this was the most disappointing element of the trip. The museum hasn’t been updated (or cleaned!) since it opened in the seventies. The display cabinets lacked both content and information. None of the information was in English and the photographs on display also lacked detail. However, the trip took an upturn when we boarded the boat for a truly memorable…”

“This tour was AMAZING!! Our guide Nira and driver Sam were fantastic. Nira took us to extraordinary and scenic areas we didn’t even expect; such as the train market in Bangkok and a flower garden overlooking a large hydroelectric plant/dam. The crown jewel of this epic tour was the floating bungalow resort. I had no idea it was a twenty minute boat ride up river into a remote and gorgeous area. Absolutely stunning!! Highly recommend this tour!!”

“We had an absolutely fantastic day with Siri as our tour guide. From the moment we were picked up, everything was perfectly organized. Siri is extremely knowledgeable and shared a lot of interesting information about the places we visited and about Thai history and culture. He explained things clearly and with great enthusiasm, which made the tour even more enjoyable. The car was very comfortable, clean, and air-conditioned, which made the long drives pleasant and relaxing. Siri also made sure we always had enough water, took great care of us throughout the day, and adjusted the pace to our wishes. What really stood out was his kindness, sense of humor,…”

“Amazing time prepping food, including cutting grass from the field, then feeding the elephants and giving them a mud bath. Best part was getting sprayed by the elephant’s trunk, lol. Nick (our guide) was awesome with lots of knowledge and made sure we were safe, had a great time and took pics and videos of us. Lunch was delicious (noodles, chicken wings, curry chicken, fish, fruits and vegetables). Rode about 45 minutes to waterfalls. Took in the beautiful scenery and swam a little. FYI, life vests are mandatory (life guards are watching) and cost 20 bhat for 2 hours and if you bring water bottle inside, you’ll have to pay…”
